Position: Maintenance - Handy Man

Our client, a reputable company based in Storrington, United Kingdom, is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance - Handy Man to join their team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work

- Conduct repairs and troubleshoot issues with building systems and equipment

- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely manner

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed tasks

- Monitor building systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly

- Inspect and maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the building

- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repairs and maintenance projects

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Report any major issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor

- Assist with other tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Maintenance - Handy Man or similar role

- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC

- Basic understanding of carpentry and painting techniques

- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Good communication and interpersonal abilities

- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
